Description
BIO BLOCK is a solid bacteria-based block that works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The blocks reside in the trap and because they are heavy and sit on the bottom, they slowly dissolve. As the block dissolves, the biologicals move slowly from the bottom of the trap to the top, digesting the grease and feed. By doing this the strong odors dissipate and the trap becomes more fluid. Once this is achieved, the bacteria will begin to work downstream, consuming the grease and fats as they go.
Applications
- Grease Traps
Directions
Determine gallon capacity of grease trap. Width x Depth x height= Cubic Feet
Cubic Feet x 7.5 = Gallon capacity
For 5-500 gallon capacity, use one block. For 500-1000 gallon capacity, use two blocks. Each block lasts approx. 25-30 days. For initial application, double the dosage. This will shock the system and increase the biofilm to combat the grease immediately.
Results will vary based upon types of food prepared, temperature, amount of water flow, and pH rate.
