H1N1 BULLETIN: KEEP YOURSELF AND YOUR WORKPLACE HEALTHY!

While you may not see SWINE FLU! blasted all over the headlines anymore, it’s spreading faster than ever, and killing both healthy and sick people at an alarming rate. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) is anticipating more cases, more hospitalizations, and more deaths through the remainder of summer and increasing in the fall and winter.Continued

YOUR SWINE FLU QUESTIONS ANSWERED

Q: How long can influenza virus remain viable on objects (such as books and doorknobs)?

A: Studies have shown that Influenza virus can survive on environmental surfaces and can infect a person for up to 8 hours after being deposited on the surface. Use Space Guard to kill the virus on such surfaces. One fogger will treat an entire room’s surfaces, so this makes it an excellent choice for hospitals and sickrooms, day care centers, school buses, locker rooms, and other public areas.. Continued
